My husband and I contacted Mirella Ammirati and Southern Italy travel last February for help in finding my Grandfather’s family.
We had very little information to go on other than the name of the town he was from as my grandfather never spoke of his family. We did not even know if he had brothers or sisters.
Mirella not only traced his family back to the 1700’s she found out he had 7 brothers and sisters, (all deceased), and a huge living extended family including a sister-in-law that was 98 and wanted to meet me. This turned out to be one of the greatest days of my life.
I met cousins, saw the town, explored the countryside and cried many happy tears.
Mirella translated and helped every step of the way. When the family wanted us to come back she not only agreed to come with us, but also helped us buy appropriate presents and translated every conversation.
I can’t say enough about what she did for my family and me. She is professional, very thorough and will provide you a terrific experience.
