I can never express how grateful I am for all the work Stefano Ammirati did for me in researching my family in and around Revo’, in spending the day with me and showing me the villages where both my grandfather was born and also where his mother was born.
Stefano actually found some family members that I was not aware of living in one of the villages and he took me to meet them. It was a wonderful surprise.
This was a trip I have wanted to take for many years and was not sure I would ever get to visit. I do not speak or understand Italian, but the people I met there were so kind and nice.
The Vice mayor, Chancellor, and two volunteers took time out of their day to show us around Revo’ and give me a lot of information about the village and area surrounding it.
I was so happy to have this experience and meet the people I did. I also want to thank Rodolpho and Sergio for all the books, which I did manage to get home.
Thank you, Stefano, for the wonderful man you are and all the work you have done for me.
